Shiitake rice

Ultimately easy shiitake rice


The shiitake mushrooms

our growing kit

That was easy

We hervested lots lots of shiitake

It is highly recommended















You can get a concentrated ”つゆ”from japanese market

つゆ is a kind of stock.  It is made from soy sauce, suger, sake, seeweed, fish or sometimes mushroom
The last three ingredients will give you the fifth taste, 旨味(Umami)

Wash rice
Dilute つゆ as indicated for cooking rice (make sure that it should not be too salty)
Add cut shiitake
Cook with rice-cooker

After beeping, add some frozen english peas
close the lid and wait for 10 mins
